When to Visit
Cape Town experiences a year-round mild climate, with warm, dry summers (November to March) and wet, cool winters (June to August). The Victoria Falls has two distinct seasons: the wet season, from around March to July, when the Zambezi River swells, and the dry season, from around September to January, when water levels drop. The best time to visit the falls is from September to January. In the Kruger National Park, there’s no bad time to go on safari, but the experience varies each month. Summer months (October to March) are hot and lush, making it harder to spot game, while winter months (May to September) offer ideal daytime temperatures but can be chilly at night.
