Upon arriving at Nairobi Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our team and transferred in our luxury Mercedes-Benz vans to Hemmingway’s hotel in the serene Karen suburbs. Depending on your arrival time, you may request a city tour. Our team will be ready to drive you around as you become familiar with Nairobi. Start your day with a visit to the Giraffe Center, where you can hand-feed these gentle giants from a raised platform and watch warthogs scurry around below. Next, head to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to see rescued baby elephants, observing their feeding and playful interactions with the staff.
Your next stop is the Karen Blixen Museum, once part of Blixen’s coffee estate. This museum, made famous by the film “Out of Africa,” offers a glimpse into colonial life in early 20th century Kenya.
Enjoy lunch at the charming Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens before departing from the vibrant city of Nairobi to the tranquil surroundings of Nakuru.

Spend the day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. This park, rich in wildlife, offers incredible sightings. When water levels are low, flamingos cover the lake, turning it pink. Look out for lions, buffalos, and numerous rhinos. Our experienced trackers will be sure to help you spot leopards lounging on trees by the lake. Go back to your hotel in the evening for some cocktails, nice soft music, spa sessions, drinks, and food, then rest.

Departing the Great Rift Valley, we drive to Kenya’s renowned Masai Mara, famed for the Great Migration and numerous wildlife documentaries. The Masai Mara is a highlight of any safari adventure. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at our camp and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool. In the late afternoon, when temperatures cool, we’ll embark on our first game drive in the Mara. After returning to the hotel, savor dinner while reflecting on the day’s exciting experiences.

After breakfast, we drive across the plains in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Early mornings are ideal for viewing animals at their most active. This morning, you have the chance to embark on a unique adventure: a hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara (additional cost). Rise early and drift silently above the plains, forests, and rivers for about an hour, enjoying breathtaking views and a peaceful experience. Upon landing, indulge in a fully cooked breakfast. Later in the morning and in the afternoon, more game viewing awaits as we head back to our hotel. The Masai Mara is home to not only spectacular wildlife but also over 450 bird species, offering diverse and exciting sightings.

Masai Mara, Amboseli. We start early, leaving the Masai Mara for the Serena airstrip to catch a flight back to Nairobi. From Nairobi, we drive to Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. Upon arrival, we check into our lodge and embark on an afternoon game drive in this stunning park.
Amboseli National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including Maasai giraffes, elephants, lions, and cheetahs. The park’s landscape features the majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro, open plains, acacia woodlands, swamps, and the Ol Doinyo Orok massif. Birdwatching is excellent, especially near the lakes and swamps. Amboseli is famous for offering some of the best opportunities in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants.

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. As our tour comes to an end, this morning, we will enjoy an awesome farewell breakfast together.
